  After putting on 100K on a first year 2001 Sport Trac I just had to buy another one. This time I upgraded to a leather package with the full console and fog lamps and couldnt be happier.

  Sport Trac has been a joy. Weve had very few, if any problems. Sport Trac has been very solid with no rattles, squeaks and is well built.

  Truck has a great look and a decent ride. When youre driving you dont know youre in a truck; has leather seats and luxury features with plenty of room for front and rear passengers. Cab carries enough for everyday use.

  I went from a Ford Ranger to a Explorer Sport Trac. and I love it. In the past I have also owned a Bronco, Bronco II, and a F150. The Sport Trac is easy to drive and park. I breed and show dogs so it is very nice to have a truck to fit all my supplies and my two 80 pound dogs when I go away for a weekend show. The truck handles very well. And is great in the snow. I will be buying another Sport Trac next year. They are great.

  The best yet! - 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

  Excellent drive. Turns a lot of heads.I would highly recommend. My wife loves it. I have a another mid size truck and this one beats it hands down, in driving, fuel economy, interior design and size.

  03 Sport Trac - 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

  The only flaw I have found is the rigid and light rear end causes some stability issues. Often at normal road speeds, hitting bumps when going any direction but straight can cause the rear to skip a little, not a fun feeling. I would pass on the power seats if you want to be able to store anything under them, and the rear seats dont fold down flat if you store anything of size under them. Other than that, a wonderful truck.

  I looked at the Sport Trac a couple years ago and really liked them but hesitant to buy one because of past problems I had with an F-150. When I finally decided it was time to buy I started looking at trucks and SUVs from all manufacturers and probably judged Ford the hardest. I pretty much selected a vehicle from all the major manufacturers and then started the process of elimination by comparing features. Once I had it narrowed down to three vehicles I then went to dealerships for test drives and "in person" comparison. After extensive head-to-head tests there was no denying that the Sport Trac was the clear winner in features, style, usability, and build quality.

  The worst vehicle I ever owned - 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

  My 2005 XLT has had a vibration in it that you feel in your rear since the day that I picked it up. Dealer tells me that its not their problem, to deal with Ford. Ford tells me to take it back to the dealer. Truck has been in the shop 7 times in 8 months and is just as bad as at the time of delivery. 10 new tires, drive shaft indexed, front end alignment, spin balance multiple times. I am applying for the Lemon Law as Ford told me that they were unwilling to even send a Field Engineer to look at the vehicle and they suggested that I take it to a different dealer. When Ford files for chapter 11, I will have a party. Its no wonder they are in such bad shape. They could care less about quality
